Benn Jaye photoshoot (2010) HQ

LocationLohan.com:
Lohan readies fashion photoshoot, declares: ‘This is for my comeback’
Lindsay Lohan is poised to make her Hollywood return with snaps from this Exclusive Allrounder fashion shoot – with the actress proudly declaring, “This is for my comeback”.
The Mean Girls star has been in and out of rehab and jail over the last few months and is currently serving a three-month term at the Betty Ford Clinic in California after failing two drug tests and breaching her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI arrest.
But she has been using her time in treatment wisely – and has been plotting her big return to the spotlight when she completes rehab in January (11).
Lohan teamed up with Australian fashion photographer Benn Jaye for a photoshoot at the end of August (10), just after completing a court-ordered stint at Los Angeles’ UCLA Medical Center and shortly before she made a surprise appearance at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards.
The actress appeared “very sober” and “very quiet” on set, aside from chain smoking throughout, and kept to herself in between takes, according to art director Albert Reed III, admitting it looked like events had “taken their toll” on the star.
But she was upbeat about the prospect of heading back to work, proudly announcing, “This is for my comeback.”
Referring specifically to one recent incident with the paparazzi, when she was snapped stumbling as she climbed out of a car, she said, “Everything I do is always made out to be bigger than it was.”
However, it seems Lohan hasn’t left every aspect of her wild ways behind – she turned up five hours late for the photoshoot and drew concern from onlookers when she finally did arrive, accompanied by two pals who were drinking throughout the shoot.
The finished photos will be unveiled when her official website, LindsayLohan.com, relaunches next year (11), although one image is already being used as the ‘coming soon’ shot to tease fans.

Rehab worker fired in Lohan incident

A day that began with authorities confirming Lindsay Lohan was being investigated for battery on a female staffer at a California rehab facility treating the starlet ended with the worker fired after giving an interview about the incident.

Riverside County sheriff’s detectives said Tuesday they are investigating the “Mean Girls” star for an alleged altercation with a worker at a Betty Ford Center facility in Palm Desert that occurred after 1 a.m. on Dec. 12.

The agency declined to say what prompted the fight, but said the worker was interested in pursuing charges against Lohan.

Betty Ford spokesman Russ Patrick said the staffer was fired for identifying patients at the center in an interview and “disclosing a privileged document.”

Although Betty Ford and the sheriff’s department did not identify the worker, she appeared in an interview on celebrity website TMZ on Tuesday afternoon and was promptly fired. She claims the 24-year-old Lohan and two other girls had sneaked out of the facility.

In the video, Dawn Holland claims she was trying to get Lohan to submit to a breathalyzer test when the actress became belligerent, pushed her and snatched a phone from her hand, straining her arm.

Attempts to reach Holland were unsuccessful. A phone number registered to her was not accepting calls Tuesday evening.

Lohan has not been arrested or charged in the incident. Her attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in an e-mailed statement that it was the actress who called for police.

She declined to offer additional details, citing the ongoing sheriff’s investigation.

While the fallout for Holland was swift, Lohan’s situation remains unclear. A judge has ordered her to remain at Betty Ford until Jan. 3 and remain out of trouble until Feb. 25. He also ordered her to submit to all drug and alcohol screenings or face up to six months in jail for violating her probation on a 3-year-old drunk driving case.

Riverside County sheriff’s Deputy Herlinda Valenzuela said Lohan’s case would be presented to prosecutors, who will decide whether Lohan faces a new charge.

Lohan has been receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center and its facilities, about 120 miles east of Los Angeles, since late September.

Patrick’s statement said that until Tuesday, Betty Ford had upheld the confidentiality of 96,000 patients who had received treatment there since it opened in 1982.

He said Holland’s interview was a breach of trust and the rehab process.

“When patients come to the center for treatment, they come to a safe place where their identity is protected, where anonymity is safeguarded,” he said in an e-mail. “Their simple priority when in treatment is to learn how to live a life free of alcohol and other drugs.

“Confidentiality and trust are key to the treatment and recovery process.”

Lohan’s stint at Betty Ford is her fifth stay in rehab and her second this year.

Beginning in July, she was jailed for 14 days, followed by three weeks at inpatient rehab. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox agreed to release her early from treatment at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in late August based on doctor’s recommendations.

Lohan can pick and choose

Lindsay Lohan has a “mountain” of scripts to choose from when she leaves rehab.

The troubled actress, who will continue receiving treatment at the Betty Ford Center until early next year, is not suffering from financial problems and has been inundated with offers for when she returns to work, claims a close friend.

Ethan Terra, who is co-owner of Lindsay’s mother Dina’s production company, said: “Lindsay has absolutely no qualms about getting work. She literally has a mountain of scripts to choose from. When she is ready, we’d like to see her take on a positive role; she is doing so amazingly well with her recovery.”

Earlier this week, it was announced that Lohan will no longer have a role in the Linda Lovelace biopic Inferno. Director Matthew Wilder claims she was dropped because of the “impossibility” of insuring her.

However, Terra insists the 24-year-old star would have had no problems getting insured and left the project of her own accord because she didn’t want to jeopardize her recovery from drug addiction.

He told Fox News’ Pop Tarts: “It’s not fair in any way, shape or form for those reports to be out there. Lindsay is 100 percent insurable. All she had to do was put up a fee as a bond, then she would have been paid upon completion. I could insure her today. She was definitely not fired.”
